Matter
Intention
Examples of matter: Table, chair, glass, bottle, gems, stones, humans, air, etc.
Non - examples of matter: Light, thought love ,hatred, friendship, etc.
I understand that matter is a very small type of particle which is the starting point of all concrete things. It is made of atoms, which are made from protons, neurons and electrons.
I think the statement "Matter is all around us." means that everything that we see around us (for example a table, or chair) has originated from matter.
Action
Air is made up of 78% nitrogen and 20.9% oxygen. It also contains 0.90% Agron gases, 0.03% carbon dioxide and 0.17% of other gases.
Lead (Pb
) - It makes loss of biodiversity and contributes to learning disabilities.
Ozone (O3)
- Interferes in the ability of plants to respire and reduces the lung's function.
Sulfur Dioxide (SO2
) - It contributes to acid rain formation and makes breathing difficult.
Nitrogen Oxides (NO and NO2)
- It damages foliage and irritates breathing passages.
Carbon Monoxide (CO)
- It contributes to smog formation and exacerbates symptoms of heart disease.
Air is impure as it has a lot of impurities which are the following:
I have conducted an experiment to prove that air is matter.
I can prove that air is matter because it displays all properties of occupying space and having mass.

Reflection
It was able to use my research skills and thinking skills to complete this task:
Research skills- I have surfed the world wide web to find out impurities of air and its constituents.
Thinking skills- I have gone back down my memory lane to remember the learnings of the past week.
The strategies I used are:
Focus on one task at a time- I focused on one task at a time by not doing all three components of the strategy altogether
Communicating Clearly- I asked my parents about
