Niche marketing. The first airline in Malaysia was founded upon Shariah (Islamic) laws, and the fourth in the world. Since it was an Islamic airline, no pork or alcohol was served on board. Prayers were recited before each flight and on all Muslim female flights.
Rayani Air founded by Ravi Alagendrran and his wife Karthiyani Govindan, both Malaysian Indian descent. December 2015 embark inaugural flight to Langkawi.
