- - - - This method is cost effective because districts don't have to purchase materials (Harvey, 2019).
      - Students are already competent with devices, so more instructional time can be spent on content rather than teachers being "tech support" (Harvey, 2019).
    - - Technology use be intentional and supported by the district. Without proper Internet connections, training to be able to operate a variety of devices, and approved usage of these devices, this method will fail (Harvey, 2019).
      - Different devices allow different applications to be utilized. Some softwares are only operable on Mac devices, and some activities are more user-friendly on some devices than others (Harvey, 2019).
      - Accessibility could also be an issue. Some students don't have digital resources outside of the classroom to bring. Also, Some students don't want to use their personal device for class, which can task teachers with the uncomfortable task of trying to persuade students to use thousand-dollar devices for educational gain (Harvey, 2019).
  - - - There is a large up-front cost for the district to purchase all of the devices at market cost if they are not marked down to a school rate (Harvey, 2019).
      - Students may not respect the devices or may even intentionally damage them to avoid tasks (Harvey, 2019).
        
        This can sometimes be problem-solved by generating a contract between students, parents, and the district to hold students accountable to protect devices (Harvey, 2019).
