Standard 1. Learner Development

The teachers has to learn and understand how each student learns.

The teacher also has to recognize that every student has a different background so they may not respond to your teaching as well as the others do.

The variety of developmental areas include cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional, and physical.

Standard 2. Learning Differences

Standard 3. Learning Environment

As a teacher, you have to work with everyone and be supportive through everything you do.

The classroom must benefit those who learn better individually as well as those who find more comfort in group work.

Th classroom needs to have encouragement, active minds, positive interactions, and active minds to ensure a haelthy learning environment.

Standard 4. Content Knowledge

The teacher understands the content that they will be teaching to their students.

The teacher will make connections with the student and ensure that they are meeting their personal high standards.

Teaching the children the various cultures that can be seen around school and in their own classroom will help them understand that everyone is different and that is okay.

Understanding the diverse cultures and individual differences will help create a safer environment in your classroom

The teacher will create meaningful and interactive lessons that students are involved in to ensure mastery.

The students wont learn if you can't teach the lesson with multiple structures so be sure you have mastery in the specific subject before you try to teach it.

Standard 5. Application of Content

The teacher can put together various lessons that keep every type of student intrigued.

The teacher must make the students use higher order thinking to make sure they are using their brains to complete assignments and not just having to memorize what they are being taught.

As a teacher, don't only teach them about problems globally but also about things that may be happening close by and how they can help problem solve and use their creativity to collabe with other on the issue.

Standard 6. Assessment

Assessments are important to show growth in students education and to show students that they either need to focus harder or that they are doing amazing.

The teacher can use different types of assessments to show what they need to reteach and how their students students react to different teaching strategies.

As a teacher, don't only give tests to see growth, use different methods to keep your students entertained while also on task and efficiently working.

Standard 7. Planning for Instruction

The teacher plans out instruction to fit every type of learner so everyone can learn intensely and effectively.

Be a leader to your students as well as other teachers. Taking initiative and helping others without being asked will not only help yourself but you can learn as you go.

As a teacher, you can never have enough knowledge on how to teach student so you need to constantly find ways that you can do better.

The teacher can help their students understand how to develop deep understandings of content while learning.

Set learning goals for the students so they are more actively involved and want to learnso they meet these specific goals.

Using your knowledge of content areas, curriculum, cross-disciplinary skills, and pedagogy, you can make goals that each student can accomplish and not too crazy that they wont ever be able to reach.

Teach your students to use their knowledge in certain areas to build their skills and connections in meaningful ways.

To be am effective teacher, you have to understand how to deliver instruction to your students by using multiple strategies to help your students understand learning areas differently.

Evaluate yourself and hold yourself accountable when put in different situations and recognize how you handled it and what you could have done differently.

If you find difficulty in teaching a certain student, you can always ask for help and find a different way to teach them that can meet their needs effectively.

Collaborate with other teachers to create new and better ideas for lessons and so you can advance in teaching and ensure learning growth.

Take responsibility for your students learning no matter if its good or bad because this will show that you will stick with them and help build them up.
