Concept 2: Scally Body
The scales protects the reptile from being eaten by other dangourous animals.

Class Activity: Water activity, the children will learn that reptiles are cold-blooded(National Geographic Society 2015). They will put their hand in cold water and others will hold ice and they should examine what is cold, ice or water.

Get a box and create scales with it.
Class Activity: Learners will go outside with a garden spade and look for grass to put in the hole nest and get a bucket of water to pour on the ground so that digging the hole will be easier.
