Where does insects come from

Activity-The activity will be called matching cards where we will put different kinds of insects on a set of cards and the habitat on another set of cards and children will be able to match the cards with each other ,they will match the insects with their habitat.

Activity-We go on a search to find these different insects in their different environments and identify them.

What are the characteristics of the insects

objectives-students will learn how to be able to observe ,catch and identify the different insects. Students would know how to react to certain insects and how to kill or face them. Gaining the concept of the different characteristics children learn which insects to be careful for and which not to.

observing and drawing insects

Activity-Drawing symmetrical halves. The activity is very straight forward children will receive a page with a halve draw insect example butterfly and children draw the other halve and that's how they learn the different characteristics of the insects by drawing it.

Activity-With this certain activity, we will be going outside in a field and children will be observing the field and looking for certain insects with a magnifying glass.Once children have visually seen the insects they will draw a picture of the types of insects they have seen.

objectives-The objectives are to help the children understand the living motions of the insects and why they do what they do .With the observation of the insects learners get to study the form and body of the insect and understand the certain characteristics

objectives- We teach the children where insects come from to help them be careful and help them understand the circumstances of each insect and how each other them live differently.With this we learn to understands the different characteristics of the different insects.

Activity-we will make a natural pest repellent where we use kitchen materials to make a natural friendly pest repellent. Children will take a bottle fill with lemon juice, mint, salt and other materials. Children will learn there are other ways of getting rid of pest without killing them.

objectives-Children will learn that insects can become a nuisance to people and that a pest infestation can be a very complicated, uncomfortable situation to be in because its hard to kill animals and care for your safety.

Activity-We will use a worksheet that will display different kinds of meals and we will determine which foods do we think will experience the most food destruction if we leave it outside in the sun.

objectives-Children, learn that insects can cause big damage like food destruction. They learn that insects can transmit diseases on crops and cause crop destruction. Food destruction will make students aware that they have a big impact on the environment and can be very quickly transmittible.

Activity-As a class we will do an outdoor activity where we will test the concept of insects decomposing waste.
We will use two jam jars and fill it with a little compost and chopped fruit and cover it with a plastic and rubber band ,we will let the jars sit for 2/3 days and then reflect on results.

objective-We learn the children the concept of how insects decompose waste and organic matter so that we can use this waste to plant fruits and vegetables and the chances are good for the proper growth of fruits and vegetables.We teach the children the effect or purpose insects have on providing us food.
