Insects are most commonly found in terrestrial environments including grasslands, deserts and forests. Insects are also largely found in near ponds, lakes streams and wetlands and these are known as freshwater habitats. Klappenbach,L.(2019a)

- How do insects benefit us humans.
Pollination- honeybees, butterflies and moths etc pollinate. Without pollination there would be no reproduction of plants, without reproducing of plants we cannot survive. Insects also help with decomposition. Marci[2023]
Class Activity- Group work-Each group will have a benefit of insects and create a poster with pictures and drawings.
- How do insects communicate.
Insects do not have the normal senses does us humans and other animals have to communicate. Insects are much smaller in size, so they use their sense of their sense of smell and taste. This helps them to detect chemical signals, while colourful markings, and light flashes is key in their survival and mating. Daniel, A. (2021)
