Reproduction process
Male crocodiles attract a mate by making noise such as bellowing, hitting the water with their snouts and raising their tails.
The mating process takes place underwater (Iucncsg.org - reproduction, no date).
Activity: Learners are each provided with a bowl of water and a vibrating sensory toy. They must place the toy in the water so that half of it is in the water and half of it is above the water. This will give them a visual representation of what happens to the water when crocodiles bellow.
