6 TYPES OF SOFTWARE
Operation system
A software in-charge of making the computer run using the software given. It is the most important software of the computer because without it the computer would not function. It processes the computer's memory and communication with other computers and controls others software and hardware.

Application software
A software in charge of a specific function/application. Used to assist end users in specific types. Examples of this are Fire fox, Chrome and edge.

System software
A software designed to run and operate internal operations such as reading data from input device, display outputs, manage resources of the said device and provide a surface for applications.
Utility software
A software tasked to perform specific functions such as copy, paste, delete. It also helps maintain smoothness of operation of the computer. Examples of this software is antivirus, disk management and disk clean-up.

Connecting software
A software that connects the computer/device with the connecting computers/ server to enable sharing of files, resources and information.
Language processors
A software used to interpret data and program codes into assembly language. It is commonly used to make websites and applications. Examples of language processors are c++, Java, Fortran ect.
