How insects harm us
Diseases
- Some insects are carriers of diseases such as mosquito's carrying malaria.
Plant destruction
- Some insects tike bites out of plants and infect them wit plant diseases. These plants include crops. Once these plants are destroyed or infected by insects, they are no longer able to be used and that affects nations' food supply.

How insects communicate

How insects help us
Pollination
- Insects like bees, rest on a flower or plant and their paws collect residual pollen from that flower or plant. When they fly to another plant, the pollen from the previous flower is still on the insect's paws and then gets carried onto that second plant.
Food
- Bees create honey by taking pollen from surrounding areas' flowers. Honey is used for food, sweetener or medicinal purposes.
