Spraying plantations with insecticides is a good way to prevent the disease from being caught
The known solution is to eradicate the trees with the disease
Outcomes:
CSSVD is a major disease in cocoa plants which has no cure and kills the cocoa plants
100000 hectares of cocoa plants were lost due to the 1945 CSSVD outbreak
It can wipe out 30-40% of production a year
