English Grammar
The process of describing the structure of phrases, sentences, and all the grammatical sequences.

Traditional Grammar
Originates from the description of languages such as Latin and Greek. It adopted categories from this description and apply them in the analysis of newer languages.

Traditional Analysis
Latin: amo, amas, amat, amamus, amatis, amant.
Each Latin verb form is different , based on the categories of person and number.
English: I love, She loves, They love.
The English verbs are mostly the same, with one exception.
The parts of speech
Nouns
People, objects, places, creatures, qualities, phenomena and abstract ideas.

Articles
Are words used with nouns to form a noun phrases. A, An, The
Adjectives

Conjunctions
Are words used to make connections and indicate relationships between events. (And, but, because, when).
Verbs
Are words used to refer to various kinds of actions and states involving people and things in events.
Adverbs
Words used with verbs to provide more information about actions, states and events.

Prepositions
Words that provide information about time, place, and other connections. (At, in, on, near, with, without).
Pronouns
Are words used in place of noun phrases, referring to people and things already known. (She, herself, they, it, you).
Agreement

Category of tense. (Present Tense, Past Tense).
Active voice, it performs the action of the verb, and passive voice, it doesn't perform the action.
Category of person. (First person, second person and third person).
