Insect Habitats
Insects live in almost every habitat on earth. They live in hot deserts, fresh forests and up to snowy mountains.[1]
Honeybees are found in a hive.
Termites in a burrow.
Weaver ants in a tree..
Dragonflies in water.

Mutualism-animals benefit from each other.
Define Aphid-a small bug that feeds by sucking sap.
Ant & Aphid and how they help each other-Aphids feed on the honeydew by milking the aphids and in return ants will protect the aphids from predators and parasites (Osterloff.n.d). ACTIVITY: Circle all the interdependent insect on the worksheet.

Listen and discuss how we can protect the insects in our environment
Example: By reducing littering and recycling.
ACTIVITY: As a small group activity, each learner will get a chance to the pretend play area and enact on how we can help insects.
