Bureaucratic;
- an org that values formalisation, rules, standard operating procedures and hierarchical coordination has a bureaucratical culture.
- Long-term concerns are predictability, efficiency and stability.
- Managers view their roles as being good coordination and organisers as well as enforcers of written rules and standards.
- Tasks, responsibilities, and authority for all employees are clearly defined.
- governments and state-owned agencies(ISO) acting like a guideline for good management
Clan culture;
- attributes are tradition, loyalty, personal commitment, extensive socialisation, teamwork, self-management and social influences.
- members recognise an obligation beyond the simple exchange of labour for a salary
- Clan culture unity with a long and thorough socialisation process..
- members share feelings of pride in membership. They have a strong sense of identification and recognise their interdependence.
- The richness of culture creates an environment in which few areas are left totally free from normative pressures

Entrepreneurial culture;
- Attributes are high levels of risk-taking, dynamism and creativity
- Entrepreneurial culture creates change
- Effectiveness means providing new and unique products and rapid growth.
- individual initiative, flexibility, and freedom foster growth and are encouraged and well rewarded.
- Discovery limited being an example were Gore is still the CEO
Market culture;
- Attributes are the achievement of measurable and demanding goals, especially those that are finance and market-based.
- Hard driving competitiveness and a profit orientation prevail.
- The relationship between the individual (employee) and the org is contractual
- The individual is responsible for some level of performance and the org promises a specified level of rewards in return
- Superiors' interactions with subordinates largely consist of negotiating performance-reward agreements and/or evaluating requests for resources allocation.
- MTN, clicks and McDonalds are good examples and indicatiors
