Affair.
Regulus announces he'll be taking a step back from acting after his current movie for a little while.
James and Regulus.
two start a secret affair after a while. James start to write songs about him.
James asks lily if she would 'fake' date him for medias sake and reg's sake, prevent sirius from finding out.
in turn, reg asks barty. Although Barty is already dating Evan. The two stage a fake breakup. Reg starts to fake date Barty to lower suspicions
Media side. Song leak.
Regulus song that he wrote for snape, gets leaked with his recording before Snapes He gets voted for new upcoming artist and best song alongside the marauders. Start to see each other at events
James and Regulus, at party get caught by Alice. (party ties in to, 'I can see you with your suit and your neck tie, pass me a note saying meet me tonight.'

Rita says she won't tell Media. Asks what they are. Reg says they're not anything just hooking up in case of media leak. LIES. James goes radio silent on Reg because he feels betrayed. Starts seeing Lily more often
Barty and Reg basically call it quits quietly after a few weeks. Though James does not know this.

Marauders release new album. Has a lot of songs dedicated to Reg, regulus doesn't listen to it until he is invited to a listening dinner party. Sirius asks how he is and he says he's fine. The last track hits home. Basically makeup then and there lol.
Regulus releases debut album. Announces he's quitting acting as he's found his passion for music and it's separate from the influence of his parents.

James and Reg don't talk for months, until Reg#s movie premiere that Sirius attends with James as his plus one. Tensions are high. Reg is civil but James still feels hurt although he's moved on and still thinks Reg has because he's always with Barty.
reg is actor although writes music in spare time, wrote song for Pandora.

Altenate ending ;
After James and Reg break up for the 3rd time, they do not rekindle their romance, James continues the pr relationship with Lily hoping it will stir some jealousy in Regulus but Regulus is adamant that if it's still going, James doesn't want him. He then relapses and basically ends up in hospital where in the end James goes to him and we're left with a cheeky cliffhanger!!
