Static Website : information on the website doesn't change, everyone sees the same thing (MMU website)
Dynamic Website : information on the website changes, usually it will change based on who logged in (Shopee, MMLS, Camsys)
E-commerce (based on transactions)
Pure E-commerce : fully online transaction (purchasing e-books/songs/movies, subscribing to Netflix, online games etc)
Partial E-commerce : transactions are done online but getting the product physically (purchasing clothes, Foodpanda, furniture etc)
Typical EC Organisations
Pure-play/Virtual : everything is done online, there's no such thing as physical transaction (Google, Ebay, Microsoft)
Click-and-Mortar/Click-and-Brick : have physical location, at the same time you can do it online (Lotus, Mydin, Mr.DIY)
Brick and Mortar : having a physical organization (7-11, 99speedmart, mini market)
E-commerce (based on relationships)
B2B : Transaction between organizations (Dell buys processer chips from Intel)
C2C : consumer sells to another consumer, selling second-hand clothes and books online (Mudah, Carousell)
B2C : Transaction between business and consumer (Mydin & Tesco sell products directly to consumers)
G2C (Government to citizens) : interactions and services provided by the government agencies or directly to individual citizens or residents of a country (My JPJ, MySejahtera)
M-Commerce (Mobile E-Commerce) : using of mobile devices like smartphones, tablets, to purchase products or services online (Grab, Navigation apps)
Social Commerce : Integration of social media platforms with online shopping (business advertise their products in tiktok, fb or ig, user views the products details, comment, and reviews)
Local E-commerce : also known as hyperlocal e-commerce, refers to the buying and selling of goods & services online within specific local area or community (Foodpanda, delivery service)
