One-Teaching, One Observing
-
-
-
-
Observable data: behavioral skills, academic skills, and social skills.
Data collected can be used to target the students goals, and alter future lessons as needed.
Parallel Teaching
-
-
-
Class is divided between the two teachers. Each teacher teaches a group the same majterial as the other
-
-
Alternative Teaching
-
-
-
One teacher will teach, re-teach, or practice a skill with a small group. The second teacher works with the rest of the class.
This allows individual needs to be met. This also allows for remedial lessons to be done, or advanced, alternative lessons in a small group.
-
Station Teaching
-
-
-
Small groups rotates through different stations for lessons, activities, and reviews.
-
Two groups are teacher led, a third or fourth group can be independent.
Groups can be catered to individual needs. Students can be sorted as needed to help meet academic needs.
One Teaching, One Assisting
-
-
-
One teaches and provides instruction, the other provides support in the instructional process.
Support can be addressing behavior, monitoring work, managing materials, etc.
-
This is a close second for my lesson plan. The second teacher can assist with keep students on task, or with answering individual questions. Then towards the end of the lesson the co-teacher can help with transitioning to the next subject/lesson.
