- - - - Bare with me cause I'll probably suck most of the air out of the room with this,
        I want to first recognize, you've gone to bat for me at least twice now, both to hire me, even amidst Michael's skepticism after my interview, and for advocating for me to move into this role even without an MBA. You stuck your neck out and took a calculated risk and I really appreciate that. I know I've benefited from those decisions, and I hope you'd agree that our little BD team has or will benefit from those decision also.
        
        (And I hope my candor isn't confused with brown nosing, if I don't like someone, I keep my mouth shut, but good work and good leadership deserves recognition.)
      - With that preface, I did want to talk with you about the Director roll, specifically the comp and benefits side. It sounds like right now neither of us have a grasp on what those numbers might be, but drawing off of Samala's comp plan, I will say I was a little surprised at those numbers. I had a loose expectation of what the comp plan might be based on our FTE assumptions we plugged into the CS proforma, which was $300k after all the benefits, and from what I've seen on glassdoor, which averages about the same. And just kind of anecdotal evidence, talking about hiring a VP from various companies with the expectation the title drop would be accounted for with a better comp.
        So I know I'm putting the cart ahead of the horse a little as we don't yet know what the actual numbers are, but I want to
        with the aspirations of staying at this company long term I want to put it on your radar that
      - I know Samala was shut down when she requested a stronger comp plan, but respectfully, I think my extensive background in solar and financial modeling, combined with my enthusiasm for networking and aspirations to build a long standing career at Sunnova, would give me more of a leg to stand on with a request for a comp plan in line with what other Directors at the company are seeing. So it's possible the comp plan hits that when it's revealed in which case I'll remove my foot from my mouth, but my hunch is I'm

- - - - An MBA won't allow you to say this project doesn't pencil because we're assuming 3.5 X the market rate for O&M and we're double counting production haircuts because the software the developer uses already accounts for degradation and we don't need panel washing because we've also accounted for soiling in that same model
      - MBA won't gaurantee you perform well under presssure. I've punched above my weight multiple times in this role, I've presented to the C-suite multiple times, in one case I was the only manager level employee on the call speaing to just VP's and C suite.
