The power to behave more like Jesus
Think, speak and behave more in ways they reflect God’s: love, goodness, truthfulness, justice, forgiveness, mercy
Frustrated as human weaknesses continue to hamper their efforts to become a better human being.
The gift of faith. Overcome questions and doubts about God, Jesus and the teachings of Jesus
The gift of hope. Trust that God will always help them.
The gift of charity. Keep loving God more deeply for God’s own sake and draw on God’s power for daily life.
Membership to Jesus’ church
The power to share in the work of Jesus by drawing others to God
Teach others about Jesus by example
Limited by their human capacity to live the Christian life
The graces of the Eucharist and the other Sacraments. Draw closer to God by receiving Jesus in Holy Communion and the graces of the other sacraments
Unable to receive the other sacraments and so unable to receive their graces
Being united with the Holy Spirit with other baptised believers
The Holy Spirit drawing baptised Christians closer together
Develop good relationships with other Christians
