SIMPLE PRESENT
It is the tense that enables us to give basic information about ourselves, express desires and share opinions.
QUESTIONS
DO / DOES + I/YOU/WE/THEY HE/SHE/IT + VERB + COMPLEMENT + ?
EXAMPLES:
Do you work?
Does he do?
Do they come here?
Do we start?

Does she like doing at the weekend?

To conjugate the simple present we use the infinitive for the subjects “I”, “you”, “we” and “they” and for the third persons “he”, “she” and “it”, we add an “-s” at the end of the verb.

YOU WIN IN THE BASKETBALL.
WE BUY IN THE SHOPPING.
THEY BECOME IN THE MOTHERS.
HE EATS CAKE.
SHE LEARNS IN THE SCHOOL.

SUBJECT (I, YOU, WE, THEY, HE, SHE, IT) + VERB + COMPLEMENT
NEGATIVE STRUCTURE
SUBJECT (I, YOU, WE, THEY, HE, SHE, IT) + AUXILIARY VERB (DO/DOES) + NEGATIVE AUXILIARY (NOT) + VERB + COMPLEMENT
EXAMPLES NEGATIVE:
I DO NOT TALK WITH MY FAMILY.
YOU DON'T WIN IN THE BASKETBALL.
WE DO NOT BUY IN THE SHOPPING.
THEY DON'T BECOME IN THE MOTHERS.
HE DOES NOT EAT CAKE.
