Skin dimpling
Nipple discharge
Nipple retraction
Warm, Redness, tenderness
Change in size, shape or texture of breast
Inspect axilla
Palpate all four quadrants of breast along with tail of spence
Look for skin changes or ulceration
Note the position, size, shape, consistency, overlying skin changes and mobility on palpating
Compare both breasts
Inspect the patient from end of bed for any asymmetry or scars
Examine fixity to pectoralis muscle
Position the patient at 45degrees
Palpate both axilla
Palpate for lymphadenopathy
Palpate abdomen for hepatomegaly
Percuss and auscultate lungs for lung masses
