Formative
One Pager: Students will write a One to half a page, Identifying the main point of the movie/lesson.
3-2-1 Flow chart: Students will list 3 things they learned, 2 things they found interesting, and 1 question they still have after the lesson.
Definition: Formative assessment is a way of assessing students to get feedback to use for modifying and adjusting instructions. These assessments are low stakes, so they have little to no grade value.
Interim-Benchmark

Definition: Interim/benchmark assessments are used to see where students are in their learning and determine if they are on track with their learning to do well on future assessments.
Kahoot: A very fun and competitive computerized test to show students achievement in the lesson thought.
Summative

Definition: Summative assessments are used to evaluate students learning at the end of the unit. These are usually high stakes, so they have a high grade value.
Essay/Project: Essays or projects are used to assess what the student has learned about the whole unit itself.
