Aims of the Allies
Council of Four - Wilson, Clemenceau, Orlando, Lloyd George. Set up - quick decisions, avoid war, prevent rebellions
Clemenceau: wanted to destroy Germany from WW1, ensure Germany couldn't threaten France, guarantee of UK/US support
Lloyd George: wanted to punish Germany, still wanted them to recover as they could be a potential market

Germany lost - Alsace and Lorraine to France, Eupen and Malmedy to Belgium, Saar Valley to LoN Admin, West Prussia to Poland, Estonia Latvia and Lithuania given independence, Rhineland demilitarized, Anschluss forbidden
Treaty of Saint-Germain

Austria lost - Bohemia and Moravia to Czech, Dalmatia Bosnia Herzegovina to Yugoslavia, Galicia to Poland
