To come back to Reddam or not to come back to Reddam?
Consequences and lessons learned
Sometimes things happen for a reason
Met some good friends and have had countless good times with them. This is due to having friends from the higher grade and making new friends in the current grade
I believe I’ve actually performed better academically because I repeated grade 4 and have been able to keep up with the classes and for the most part been ahead of the classes
More homework and less free time as opposed to other schools
Fun fact: I’ll be able to drive mid grade 11 as I’ll be 18 while everyone else will not be able to drive yet.
I now have to balance my breaks with going to different friend groups
Situation
I left Reddam at the end of grade 3 and then went to a school called Eden and did grade 4 there. At the end of grade 4 I wanted to change schools so I enquirer at Reddam but the said the jump from grade 4 to 5 in Reddam is too big so I would have to repeat grade 4 if I wanted to come to Reddam even through my marks were adequate to move to the next grade. So either I go to Reddam or I go to a different school and move to grade 5
