plants reproduction
-
Reproduction in plants takes place sexually and asexually as well. But the majority of the flowering plants reproduce sexually. The flower is the reproductive part of a plant i.e., both male and female gametes are produced by flowers.
Process
Pollen is carried from a male part to a female part by wind, insects or other animals (a process called pollination), where it releases male gametes that fertilise the female gametes in the ovules. The ovules develop into seeds from which new plants will grow
-
sexual reproduction
what is?
Sexual reproduction, production of new organisms by combining the genetic information of two individuals of different sexes.
-
Sexual reproduction depends on two, a male and a female gender, each contributing a gamete or sex cell that contains half the usual amount of DNA of a normal somatic cell. In males, the gametes are the sperm and in females the gametes are the eggs.
.
-
This type of reproduction occurs in eukaryotic organisms, for example, plants and animals. Within this there are two variants: direct and indirect sexual reproduction.
Human reproduction
What is?
human reproduction is a process in which the two reproductive parts of two living beings of different sexes come together, having sexual intercourse and allowing the creation of new human beings, because both sexes, male and female, are involved.
-
Characteristics
is always sexual, that is, it requires the production of eggs (by the woman) and sperm (by the man).
-
For this process, both male and female sexes are involved, the male reproductive system produces spermatozoa and the female reproductive system produces eggs,
and fertilization consists of the union of a male cell and a female cell.
-
asexual resproduction
what is?
Asexual reproduction is the physiological process that allows living beings to transmit their genetic information to their descendants without the union of gametes of individuals of different sexes.
