Overall objective:
To contribute to addressing issues around sustainable development, poverty, and inequality in Thailand.
Specific objective:
Representation of women’s, girls’ and youths’ needs in social and economic policy making and implementation enhanced.
Expected outputs
Output 1: Capacity and networks of CSOs working on gender equality and women’s empowerment to engage local authorities in policy dialogue enhanced.
Activities Output 1:
1.1) 9 CSOs, and 8 LA groups’ learning exchange and competence development;
1.2) Grassroots women’s groups training, networking, and collaboration;
1.3) Research paper development for information campaigns on public service and policy implementation around women’s rights.

1.5) Multi-stakeholder dialogue with state actors, 8 LAs, 50 CSOs, 9 women’s Quality of Life committees and 9 district steering committees in Chiang Rai province,
1.6) Collaboration and cooperation with like-minded actors and agencies to enhance existing women’s rights and equality dialogue and networks.
• FSTP for conducting action research for women’s networks and LAs on women's rights promotion to inform district level Women’s Quality of Life committees operations to support women’s life quality and knowledge enhancement for women from 9 districts in Chiang Rai province – Replication in other provinces is also proposed here.

Output 2: Protection of youths and promotion of their rights through multi-level networking and collaboration improved
Activities Output 2:
2.1) Training and workshops for 15 youth networks, 15 CSOs and state actors on youth rights;
2.2) Communication and learning with LCRC & CRYA groups in 3 provinces for LAs, Sub-district Administrative Organisations (SAOs), child rights volunteers and office of children and families shelter staff;
2.3) Multi - level state actor engagement on child development and protection with child participatory process.

2.5) Child & youth rights and protection campaigns, advocacy, and dialogue,
2.6) State, civil society, donor organisations, existing thematic networks, private actors, and youth leaders engaged in policy dialogue around child and youth rights.
• FSTP for creating, supporting a youth network. To connect other youth groups for knowledge around rights, peer-support, counselling opportunities, information verification, skills and employment advice and link to State processes – Initial feasibility studies will develop a ToR in which digital networking will be included.

• 90 members of Lanna Child Rights Coalition from 15 CSOs in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, and Mae Hong Son provinces
• 300 members of Child Rights Youth Activists in 15 groups in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, and Mae Hong Son provinces

Output 3: Resourced, multi-level networks for women, youths, and indigenous groups to claim economic and social rights strengthened.
Activities Output 3:
3.1) Women, indigenous and youth groups economic and social rights, needs-based training, and coalition building;
3.2) Grassroots community networks broadened to develop collaboration and opportunities to claim rights;

3.5) Seminars and conferences for stakeholder collaboration, dialogue, learning and planning.
• FSTP for analysing needs and conducting trainings on rights campaigning and advocacy strategies for women’s CSOs and youth groups to conducting national campaigns and events on rights of youth and women.
• FSTP to broaden engagement with an additional grant for establishing indigenous networks to link around gender and youth issues.
- FSTP processes will involve mentoring and coaching by the co-applicants to ensure relevance, feasibility and sustainability.
Beneficiaries
• 550 Women, (300 Women from an existing network in 10 provinces (5 Northern, 1 North-eastern, 1 Central & 3 Southern) & the 250 women from Chiang Khong in output 1)
• 400 women from 8 districts (not including Chiang Khong), in Chiang Rai province.
