How might we be able teach the kids the importance of the vanishing trade of making paper offerings?
stations can be arranged from why do people craft these incense paper and who do these incense papers go to after they are burnt

Instead of focusing on all 5 vanishing trade, can boil down to only one vanishing trade which is the vanishing trade (practice) of making incense paper.
coming up with a magical story/journey ( based on true stories ) to allow the children to be immerse in the story world
designing our exhibition space in a simple manner, kids prefer to be more straight forward to the point ( Activities is based on the culture alone )

Replace cinnamon clay ( the actual material that makers use for joss sticks ) to polymer clay/air dry clay instead ( to create joss sticks) so that Kid’s can actually bring their structures home as a souvenir / take away
Instead of setting up the exhibition space based on real life settings, we can modify it into something more fantastical or magical like to gain kid’s interest and make it stand out
Instead of asking the kids to build traditional incense paper structures, we can use the paper to create a structure of the kid’s favourite things/ characters instead.
Activity 1: Children to go around and look for materials needed for making paper offerings ( Glue, paper, pen, sticks etc)
Activity 2: Children have to use the materials to craft simple paper houses/cars ( based on the ghost's requirement ) and throw it into fire ( replaced by colourful paper and light )in order to give the ghosts ( since its a vanishing trade, the children will have to do its job to keep it going )

As most people are scared of ghost , or think the topic is taboo, we can come up with a main character ( tour guide or quest master ) designed as a cute cartoonish looking ghost to appear friendly to them
