Why me as a leader of the leader in beauty industry?
There is one thing I haven’t told in my resume, that is about my first victory as Third-prize winner of Marketing Generators 2021. I was the leader of the team, with 4 members from 3 completely different universities. The more shocking thing is, actually that was the first time I participated in a Marketing contest, and therefore, this was also the first time I led such a diverse team to compete with more than 200 other teams. Although I had been a leader in many organizations before, it was not until then that I realized, so this is what leadership truly is.
Actually, a leader is not a person who leads, but a person who accompanies persistently. And a great leader is a person who creates impact to make the companions persist together. We have gone through 3 rounds of competition lasting nearly 3 months, but that is nothing compared to L’Oréal’s persistent journey in the beauty industry. I find my leadership spirit in L’Oréal, creating a big impact to move the world, like a true leader.
