No. 2 “There Is an Appointed Time for Everything” (Symposium)—Reflect on Jehovah’s View of Time
“It’s time to for us to talk.” / “It’s time for ice cream.”
Feels good like ice cream / not so good when your parent or spouse wants to talk = time for everything, good or bad.
See that echoed in the verses at
Ecc 3:1-8
Rather than teach that everything is controlled by fate, these words contain an important principle
v1 Key - Appointed time
One translation There's an
opportune
time to do things - BEST time
True in many areas of life - farmer
reap a good harvest - must plant at the right time.
Not a time he picks - but what is best for the crop

For every worthwhile endeavor, there is “an appointed,” or most favorable, time to do it and produce the best results
Fate?
HOW DOES JEHOVAH'S VIEW OF TIME AFFECT US?
All relate - so much to do and so little time.
As King of Eternity, Jehovah does not feel pressured to do things, as if time were running out
His creative works were not rushed but developed progressively, over long periods of time from a human perspective
Earth - different 'days' he created different things
Even took time to pause and reflect on his creative work.
.
Didn't click his fingers and everything was there as soon as possible - he lovingly took his time.
What is the lesson for us? Worthwhile things in life take time and require patience to achieve

King FOR eternity / King OF Eternity :check:
Jehovah is separate from time. He is master of it.
Look forward to seeing how that develops...
See from the video,
meditating on Jehovah's view of time helps us to be patient.
From our perspective it might take longer than expected to see the results of our spiritual activity......
Jehovah has given us the gift of TIME - WE must show patience!
In this symposium, we will discuss three worthwhile, satisfying pursuits, each of which takes time and requires patience: (1) building friendships, (2) growing spiritually, and (3) reaching goals
The first of the three spiritual pursuits will be discussed by Brother _Maher Awwad_of Laranca congregation in the next talk of this symposium, “‘There Is an Appointed Time for Everything’—Building Friendships Takes Time”
Xavier - "Just walk with God & enjoy the journey."
How exciting to think = We have all the time in the world for this everlasting journey with Jehovah!! :!!:
Ant on a painting - only see so much.
We must understand Jehovah's view of time!
Battling with health problems / not received an appointment after so much hard work / Trail is dragging on
Why? The blessings of serving Jehovah patiently are innumerable and everlasting (Ps 37:5)
Jehovah sees the bigger picture. He looks at things in the view of eternity!
