Scoring involves evaluating tests to identify the count of right and wrong answer and assigning numerical scores.
Example of scoring & grading test
Performance test
Content: 1 (lack of coherence and relevance) to 5 (well-developed and engaging content)
The scores for each aspect can be added together or averaged to calculate an overall performance score.
Vocabulary: 1 (limited range and inappropriate use) to 5 (varied and precise vocabulary)
Pronunciation: 1 (difficulty in understanding) to 5 (clear and accurate pronunciation)
Fluency: 1 (limited pauses and hesitations) to 5 (smooth and natural flow)
Essay test
Organization: 1-5 points
