I have learned that food is an integral part of my lives, providing me with essential nutrients and energy to function throughout the day.However, my food choices can have a significant impact on my health, with unhealthy diets being linked to a range of chronic diseases.As i reflect on how food causes diseases, I have come to realize the importance of making informed dietary choices to promote overall health and wellbeing. Furthermore, one way in which poor food choices can lead to disease is through the consumption of high levels of saturated and trans fats.These fats can increase the risk of heart disease by raising LDL(bad) cholesterol levels in the blood.In addition, diets high in processed and refined foods have been linked to an increase risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes and certain cancers. Now that i understand the concept, i really understand how my dad acquired diabetes through his diet.
