I really enjoyed learning about genetics. I found it interesting to see how punnet squares and pedigree charts were used in determining how traits are carried down from your parents and grand parents. I even had fun with the activity sheets, I thought it was a really fun way to learn. It helped me to understand why three of my kids have blue eyes like me, and my toddler has dark brown eyes like his father. If I am being honest, I'm not sure how this can be applied to the future, it doesn't really apply to anything I will be doing, however it could be good for conversation purposes, as I definitely better understand genetics and how it works.
