Story of Adam and Eve

Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil- Significant element in Adam and eve story. It represents a test of obedience for Adam and Eve. By taking a fruit they gained knowledge of Good and Evil.
Adam and Eve- both figures in the Book of Genesis. First, God created Adam, the first human being, from the dust of the earth and breathed life into him. Adam was then placed in the Garden of Eden. God saw that Adam was alone and decided to create a suitable partner for him. God created Eve, the first woman, by taking one of Adam's ribs while he slept and forming her from it.
Garden of Eden- setting where Adam and Eve were tempted and ate the fruit from the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil
