target audience
-
the target audience is potentially young, so to attract the younger audience I would put eye-catching colours and put all the highest attended sports activities on the front page to make to target audience more intrigued.
-
The higher majority of people attending are male so I would decide to try to attract that gender more but then also make all the sports activities unisex.
With the target audience, it will mainly be publicized on this that 10 to 16 year olds will be on such as social media, around school and many more.
the sports activities
netball
goal shooter ( they stand in the D trying to get the ball off wing attack or goal attack, once they have received the ball they shoot the ball with their dominant hand under the ball but holding the ball with their finger tips. Their other hand on the side of the ball with their legs shoulder width apart and with a flick of the wrist they will make the shot. If the team is not attaching the gal shooter with defend the D by marking the goal keeper and trying to get the ball so they can shoot again and gain more points
goal attack (they are allowed in the D with goal shooter and attempt to shoot, they are also trying to receive the ball form wing attack or center to allow the ball to go to goal shooter so they can shoot or the pass the ball to wing attack so goal attack can go into the D with goal shooter so they have a higher chance of receiving the ball and scoring)
wing attack (they are not allowed in the D they try to receive the ball form center and throw it to goal attack or goal shooter so they can score. They are allowed to stand around the D in case the shooter can't score and attack can't get into space (or the other way around)).
center (they are allowed in all parts of the court except the D so they can't shoot, the are an attacking player but also a defender, they start with the ball and they are the main player to get the ball up and down the court.)
wing defense ( they are trying to stop the ball form going to the other teams attacking players by intercepting the ball. They are not allowed in the D )
goal defense ( they do similar work to wing attack but they are allowed in the D with goal keeper, they intercept ther ball in the D by putting their hand over the ball as they try to shoot but
goal keeper ( they stay in the goal defending the D and making sure the ball don't get to the goal shooter. they try defending by leaning their hand over goal attack or goal shooter to try and stop the ball form going into the net or they intercept the ball and pass it to their team mates)
archery
With archery they will have a safety lesson due to the sharp objects and it will be optional for the students .We will use bow and arrows for left and right handed palyers. They will chose an object such as an apple and try to shoot the apple after a couple of practice shoots.
rounder
There will be four bases for the fielders to stand on and room for deep fielders, there will also be a b ox for the baller to throw the ball. The batters all have a choice of using diffret objects to hit the ball with such as a bat, a tennis racket, golf club and others.
positions:
baller - the baler throws the ball to the batter aiming just above their waist and one the baller catches the ball the batters/runner are no longer allowed to move to a different base until the baller lets go of the ball.
fist base - the person on first base will stand there and catch the ball and stump the post with the ball before the the batter/runner gets there and get them out. - if the runners reach first base and cant run anymore they will get no points but are not out.
second base - the person on second base will be the main person who will get the batters out so the ball will mainly be passed to them. If the runner reaches second base but cant run anymore the runner will get half a rounder? half a point.
third base - the person at third base is almost the exact same as second base but will have the ball a lot less.
fourth base - this person will the the lest result to try and get the runners out. If the runner still make it passed the fourth base they will gain a full rounder / a point.
batters/ runners - they will hit the ball as far as they can and run around the outside f the bases and make it all the way before the fielders get them out.

water sports
with water sports we will do different activity such as water fights, slip and slides and having the inflatable races with washing up liquid in them. The girls will have to wear swimming suits not bikinis and boys will wear shots knee length and no shorter. They will have separate changing rooms with adult supervisor with the correct gender supervisor in the correct changing rooms. If they identify as trans they can go into the changing room they would like to prefer ( as longer they have a parent slip saying they can and really do identify as trans and not just doing it because it's funny) and we will have a changing room for non-binary people so they don't feel pressured into picking a chaining room for a pacific gender..
cross country
with this cross country we will do different activity. one of the activity will be that they will get into a group of 12 and nominate four runners (they can switch each time) . The four runners are going to do a replay race while the other team mates will go off in pairs and join one runner and the four different areas. The runners will dress up in funny costumes the two team mates had picked out and when the runner get the baton the two team mates will have to help the runner get into the costume and then the runner runs 100 meters and pass the baton onto the other runners until you come back to the start.
house and teams
There will be four houses and they will all be different colours, names and they will go head to head if the different sports activities except the inside/ rainy day activities.
-
-
one other house will be the colour green. this house will be called 'olive'. this mean a small evergreen tree.
