Formative
Definition- Is a planned ongoing process used by teachers during the learning and teaching to elicit and use evidence of student learning to improve students understanding.
Group work- Each group will work together in 4 and discuss the lesson to see how there understanding the lesson.
Question- I will present a question on the board. The student will then have an answer on a sticky note and I'll read them out loud and we will discuss it.
Interim/Benchmark
Definition- Are used to evaluate where students are in their learning progress and determine whether they are on track to perform well at the end of the unit or lesson.
STARR- is the state's student testing program. The assessments are based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, which are the state curriculum standards.
PAST-Multiple Measures for Phonological Awareness because reading is a language-based skill, and difficulty in this area is the hallmark of a reading disability.

Definition- Assessment that seeks to identify the skills that an individual child processes as well as their learning.
