cells structure + transport - Coggle Diagram
cells structure + transport
eukaryotic and prokaryotic
prokaryotic cells are bacterial
eukaryotic cells are plant and animal
microscopes
electron microscope can zoom in lots more but is big and expensive
light are cheap small but cant magnify as much
plant + animal cells
nucleus - controls the cell, dna
vacuole - sap
ribosomes - photosynthesis happens here
cytoplasm - chemical reactions take place
cell membrsne - controls what enters and leaves the cell
mitrochondria - energy is released during respiration
cell wall - keeps cell rigid
chloroplast - chlorophyll providing for photosynthesis
diffusion = movement of molecules from a high to a low concentration in a liquid or gas
magnification = observed size/ actual size observed size = magnification x actual size
actual size = observed size/ magnification
osmosis = movement of molecules frm high water concentration to a low through a pertially permable membrane
active transport movement of molecules from low to high concentration requires energy
.
hypotoic
low solute outside high water outside water moves into cell
isotonic
solute outside is same as water outside and movement of molecules is equal
hypertonic
high solute outside low water outside so water moves out of cell
