Interim/Benchmark
STARR: End of the year Texas standardized test. This test covers the TEKS throughout the year and the knowledge comprehended at grade specific levels
MCLASS: K-5 early literacy assessment that tests students reading fluency, comprehension, word decoding, etc.
Sumative
Multiple choice exam: A multiple choice questionnaire that goes over all the material learned in a specific unit.
Final project: A differentiated project that covers the unit with open options such as creating a poster or a mind map over the material learned.
Diagnostic
KWL: Students fill out what they K: Know and then what they W: Want to know. Lastly they fill out what they L: Learned after the instruction has happened.

Exit ticket: Students answer a central idea question about the topic they learned about on a sticky note. Such as " What are the 13 colonies and who founded them?"
