Isolation (lack of familial support)
When a child is not given a sense of family, or support, during an intensely emotional time they may begin to feel lost, or depressed. If the lack of support continues, the child will potentially begin to feel more and more isolated from society, specifically in cases of CSA, where a large portion of victims report feeling lost, or isolated after the assault took place. Lack of support may lead to psychological, physical or behavioral issues.
