3D Techniques for Live Action (VFX)
Compositing
This technique would be used to combine certain visual elements from different images into a singular image, this is normally used as a form of illusion that all of the elements that are seen within this scene is actually a part of this one image.
Motion Capture
This is a form of 3D filming of real human actors which would be wearing a special suit to capture all forms of motions that are made all across the actor to allow a true and more realistic motion that ism made and can be used for animation. This sort of thing was used by Marvel to model and create the realistic motions of the main antagonist of the Infinity Saga: Thanos and one the protagonists the Hulk to create a more believable movement.
Asset Libraries
This is an online storage location of which is used to store, share, criticize and managing files like 3D objects that people that also store their assets may want to make use of. Such assets that exist in these libraries include, 3D objects and characters, audio files, images and videos which are stored to also be criticized to better alter them to create a better overview.
Sculpting
A further influence and altercation of an object or model that allows that model to be created into something that is much more specific to what the user is after once it has been used. This sort of thing would normally be done using a computer and mouse in order to be able to sculpt allowing them to sort of use their own hand when sculting to the users liking.
Virtual Sets
This is a special form of television studio which is used to consistently and instantaneously alter a background and manipulate it so it may be then influenced due to a situation in a scene for during filming. This is what allows for different locations in different scenes in a tv show or film without having to actually move to another location for this to be done.
Green Screen
This technique is used as a form of backdrop that can be used to quickly create an environment and situation for an animation or for filming a movie, like with the Marvel Movies they would use a lot of green screening to create these magnificent environments allowing teams to model the environment to further fit its purpose of the situation at this point in the film or television show.
Kitbashing
This is a form of modeling by taking elements of physical parts of other kits and models that can then be used to then be able to create a whole new model from it. This sort of thing would normally be used for creating concepts for models and then using it to then create the cleaner project that is then used in special effects.
Lighting - HDRI
HDRI which is short of High Dynamic Range Image is a form of panoramic image which is used with elements of lighting that is used to create an environment ready made for a model or object. This also reflects lighting from the sources seen in the HDRI images. This can be used to influence the final rendering of the final model which is used to better improve the general look of the product.
Physics Simulations
This sort of technique used for animation would normally be used in order to allow the animations to seem more realistic increasing the quality of the modelling and therefore the animation of the model so that it fits its purpose better.
Physics
This techniques would be used to give weight and power to the motions which are made by models and characters. This is what removes the rigidity of the models and objects which is what also allows the models to be able to project more life unto itself.
Particle Systems
This is the collaboration of a collection of many minute particles that are used in slightly different locations and strengths that are then used to be able to create a sort of fuzzy object, after this it can be sculpted into something like fire of a sort of bubbling water effect for a kettle or something like that, this is a sort of thing that is used as a special effect to bring life to a location or environment in an animation.
Polygon Modelling
A collection and collaboration of various shapes, vertices, edges and faces to create the shapes that would work together to allow 3D model to be made.
