CLASS, STATUS, PARTY
Weber argues social inequality is determined by 3 dimensions
Class- the economic position of individuals in society, based on their access to wealth, income and property
Status- the social prestige or honour associated with different positions in society, based on education, occupation, lifestyle
Party- the ability to participate in the political process or to influence political decisions
Weber believed these were all independent dimensions of social inequality, and combine in different ways to create complex patterns in inequality
