people like animals and find them cute, and feel bad for them when they are in danger. useful for ''coersion''

playing on peoples emotions is an effective way to get them to do what you want
people will only want to donate to cahrities if they have a good reason to. this can be done by convincing them that it is a good cause, making the process as smooth/enticing as possible, and not forcing large donation - many small are as good as one large donation.
