• Proposal Development
1st few months as F&FC:
Needed to start writing funding proposals which communicated BCR's ethos, capabilities & needs
Immersed mysef - Attended MindSet programme sessions; set up weekly meets with CEO & OM; attended Community Chats
Utilised copywriting and Plain English skills
Appllied marketing targeting/tailoring approach; checked prior funding & timescales; extensively researching funders and mapping 'offer' to their rules/criteria/needs
Very successful in achieving a mix of funds - +>200%YoY

• Grant Administration
Once I'd started to receive grants
Required to set up reporting; budgeting; compliance
Planned monitoring using CRM; recorded spend vs. budget in QB & Excel; wrote high-quality impact reports
Good feedback from funders on appropriate recording and evaluation; additional multi-year funding secured
• Fundraising Campaigns
As trustee, then as F&FC
BCR required support for events/campaigns/initiatives
Active role in 50 years of MSRC campaign; Garden Trail; Oxjam
Set up Easyfundraising; JustGiving; PayPal Giving Fund
Supported development of website & SM channels
Advised on marketing approaches for Room Hire and Cafe
