Goal of the study
To examine whether the application of group-based motor imagery practice to community-dwelling individuals with chronic hemiparesis improves gait.

Sixteen individuals with chronic hemiparesis from two community centers participated in the study, with eight from each center

No significant change in any gait variable (Although other studies showed improvements in gait variables)

Importance
This tells us that motor imagery could have lasting positive benefits although the results of this study seemed show no benefit other than the positive mental change for these patients.
