However Zeus did not permit the idea of giving fire to man since he was scared they would overthrow him.
However Minerva liked the idea of giving fire to man and decided to help the titan, she gave him a fenelstalk since it burns slowly and took him to Helios’ chariot and lit the stalk with the heat of the sun.

Tantalus
Tantalus was a king and one of the many sons on Zeus, he was invited to mt Olympus for every banquet where he would steal a great amount of nectar and listen to the gods plans for humanity in hopes of spreading them later
However once he decided to invite the gods to his palace for a feast. Zeus, Dionysus and Demeter agreed to his terms.
Tantalus told his son that his grandfather Zeus would be visiting and to get ready so his son went to his room. While he did this
however Tantalus ordered the cook to kill the boy and make him into a stew.
Tantalus the seven this stew to the gods, Demeter who was already in depression because of persephones disappearance to the underworld ate a large portion of the stew. However Zeus and Dionysus could tell that the stew wasn’t right and were outraged to be given human flesh and instead sent Tantalus to Tartarus.
His punishment in Tartarus was brutal he was forcrped to sit in a lake surrounded by food but every time he attempted to drink the water level would become lower and every time he reached for food a gentle wind would push the food away.
The gods decided to resurrect the boy but he was missing a shoulder this being the portion Demeter ate. But this was no problem Zeus ordered Hephaestus to create a new one out of Ivory.

Sisyphus
Sisyphus was a devious king who enjoyed to kill all those how entered his land as a show of power and seduced his niece to make her his wife. The gods were angered by Sisyphus lack of hospitality and decided he should be punished because of his confidence of escaping.
Zeus took the form of a giant eagle and took a river nymph, the nymphs father the god Tod the river chased Zeus to Sisyphus kingdom where Sisyphus offered the river god a deal, in return for creating a stream in the city he would tell the god which way Zeus went.
Outraged by this Zeus told the god of death to make a chain to bind Sisyphus in the underworld to stop his tretchory but as Sisyphus was being bound in the chain he asked the god how it worked and quickly bound the god instead.
Because of this nobody could die and the world fell into decline until the god ares came and rescued the god of death.
As Sisyphus was on his death bed he asked his wife to throw his body into the stream. His body then washed up on the bank of the Styx, he then went to Persephone to tell her that his wife had not given him a proper burial and should be punished. So Persephone permitted him back to the land of the living to punish her on the terms that he would come back but he never did,.
As a final resort the gods invited Sisyphus to the underworld to congratulate him on cheating death. But it was a trap and soon he was in Tartarus. His punishment being to role a stone up a hill but when he got to the top the stone rolled back down again.
