e4 only had 14 nobles that fought against him at towton attainted most of which had died
he allowed families to retain control control of underage heirs such as buckingham and shrewsbury
Some nobles refused to accept his rule e.g sir ralph percy

Warwick to capture dunstanburgh bamburgh and alnwick by august 1462 all 3 were captured
He returned Dunstanburgh to percy who then gave it to the H6. Percy was forgiven again but eventually died at the battle of hedgeley moor 1464
Henry Beaufort (somerset) fled to scot with lanc and taken control of bamburgh castle. When it was captured by warwick he was pardoned and he helped captured alnwick somerset went against e4 then was killed at hexam
