Old Testament Ethics
The 10 Commandments
The foundation of Old Testament Ethics because they teach God's people how to live in harmony with each other and most importantly with God himself.
The Wisdom literature
Old Testament Ethics Applied. The wisdom literature takes what God has previously commanded and what God has done to understand who God is and to apply it to real life problems. They also show us how to experience those attributes of God and how to react and respond to who he is and what he has done. Psalm 19: 7-11
The Old Testament prophets
A Call to Repent and Return to Justice and Ethical Ways. Specifically to tear down idols and take care of the poor rather than abuse them. These ethics are deontological but also virtue ethics as the prophets reminded God's people how gracious he is to them when they needed him and how they should do the same for those in need. Hosea 11:1

Natural Law in Christian Ethics
Revealed outside scripture and through what we learn about God through creation often. He created everything good and so when we tamper with creation we are often messing up that good. God has put creation under our feet but we are supposed to take good care of it. Psalm 8
Often found in Proverbs and Psalms where the author looks at creation and learns from it.
Divine Command Ethics
Does God command things because they are good? or are things good because God commands them? 1 Chronicles 16:34
Is there conflict between different commands in scripture?
Are some commands more important than others? There is no conflict and yes there are certain commands that are more important. Mathew 12:29-31
How can God sanction Genocide? Well we are all sinners deserving of death Romans 3:23 if that is not enough then look at job read the questions God asks him. Who are we to know what is just and unjust.
