Maslow
The needs theory
Attempts to identify internal factors that motivate an individual's behavior and are based on the premise that people are motivated by unfulfilled needs.
As an manager or boss, you can use Maslow's hierarchy of needs based on your employees to provide them with what they need so that they will work more efficiently or generally more happy.
What are needs?
Needs are psychological or physiological insufficiency that provokes some type of behavioral response.
