How do the various communities in SG Contribute to waste?
There are many communities in Singapore such as Racial communities, religious communities, Schools etc. The various communities in Sg are likely to organize large scale events and festivals. This causes a significant amount of waste to be generated in the country. The Waste include food waste, packaging materials, and the waste generated by attendees. The over-abundance of waste generated at these large-scale events with lots of people is causing the waste capacity at Pulau Semakau to reach its maximum.

Stake holders 1) Republic poly is an example of a community that generates wastes in Sg. RP generates a lot of E-waste such as spoiled appliances like projectors, computers etc. that is disposed of and incinerated. The e-waste generated at rp is a contributing to the land fill reaching its waste capacity. 2) Religious communities such as the catholic community often organize events that generates alot of waste from packaging in for example gift packaging, food packaging etc.
Individuals
How do the individuals in Sg contribute to waste?
The Singapore government has built many public recreational areas such as parks, beaches, and play grounds to improve the quality of living here for the people in Sg. These are common sources of waste generated by individuals. Littering and improper disposal of waste in these areas contribute to the overall waste generated in the country and is a stakeholder that is causing the pulau Semakau landfill to reach its full waste capacity by 2035.
Stakeholders 1)Students in RP may also improperly dispose their waste here in RP which may end up in open landfills here in Singapore such as Pulau Semakau which will be fully filled by the end of 2035. 2)Singaporeans' citizens use disposables, such as plastic bags, straws and water bottles, are used once and then thrown away. These items contribute significantly to waste

How do the societies contribute to waste in Sg? Due to Singapore being a small city with limited land space for waste disposal such as pulau Semakau. This coupled with high waste generation from various societies such as industries are causing high abundance of waste to be incinerated, filling up our one and only land fill

Stake holders 1) commercial l and industrial businesses and the activities that undergo in their facilities generate a significant amount of waste in Singapore. This includes waste from manufacturing processes, packaging materials, food waste from food establishments. 2) The Singapore government is also societal stake holder for waste in Sg, although the SG government does enforce policies and regulations for proper waste disposal it does not do enough in educating its citizens to avoid littering and dispose of their waste properly. As wel as the constraints of Sgs limited land space it cannot implement for facilities for proper waste disposal

How do global stake holders contribute to waste in SG Global stake holders are a main contributor of waste in Sg. Waste such as packaging materials, electronic waste, or other types of industrial waste.
Stake holders 1) Tourist are a global stakeholder that contribute to waste in Sg. Sg is a popular tourist destination and millions of tourists that visit the country each year contribute to waste generation. This includes waste generated from food and beverage consumption, transportation, and accommodation .
2) Another stake holder are global social media cooperations. Social media websites such as Shopee sell products globally and require shipping to do so. Due to Singapore being one of the busiest ports in the world, and the shipping generates a significant amount waste. This includes waste generated from packaging materials, fuel emissions and other industrial waste which is then incinerated and transferred to pulao Semakau.
