        however not singificat to the economic growth of this time period as already eisted befroe

        1655-58- 1500 dutch immigrants in colchester and 1685- 13000 dutch immigrants in the cloth industry which caused resentment
        
        however the dutch taught natives new continental technqiues
        
        employment rose in colchester from 26.4% to 40%
        
        their achievment was worstered draperies which required a higher skills set but were cheap and varsatile an appealed to a larger market
