Plant system
Photosynthesis
-
All living organisms, which cannot make food on their own, depend on plants indirectly or directly
-
Water is absorbed by the roots and is transported to the leaves by water-carrying tubes so that the leaves have water to carry out photosynthesis
After glucose is made in the leaves, it will change into starch to be stored in the leaves. Starch is solid form of sugar which is suitable for storage in the leaves
During photosynthesis, exchange of gases takes place through the small openings on the underside of a leaf called stomata
-
Parts of the plant
-
Each part has important functions and they work together to help the plant grow healthily and stay alive
